About this position

What you´ll do

  • Technical Support to Appliance, Heavy Duty and Power Electronics customers within North India on need basis. (On site and virtual support).
  • Visit customers, conduct VoC / plant survey and identify the business opportunities with regards to machinery adhesives, thermal interface material, potting compound, conformal coating, encapsulants, structural and elastomeric adhesives etc.
  • Maintain technical expertise and skills matching the SBU/SU strategy.
  • Conduct product - trials, pitch seminars, testing and qualification at customer end and convert the opportunities into business.
  • Prepare test matrix, conduct various tests using lab equipment and analyze the result. Use of digital tools like Albert, Nautilus, and ACE to submit the test report.
  • Quick action and response to customer test requests and provide qualified test report.
  • Conducts all laboratory work in a safe manner including the use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), adherence to site safety practices, use of laboratory equipment, 5S, etc.
  • Effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders - Product development, business development, manufacturing plants etc.
  • Lab equipment maintenance & calibration activities in regional labs.
  • Should effectively manage various adhesive dispensing equipment's that handles HMA, TIM, Silicone, Modified Silane & Anaerobic chemistry.

What makes you a good fit

  • Minimum 1year of experience (freshers are welcome)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Polymer/Paints/Plastic/Chemical/ or relevant field
  • Ability to work independently, communicate with laboratory members, and maintain organized records/reports.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
  • Solution oriented and ability to work as a team.
  • Advanced user of MS Office applications
  • Ability to understand products associated with assigned technologies.
  • Excellent hands-on and equipment competency
