About this Position

The Team Manager, HRDirect is responsible for leading a high-performing team that delivers HR services within the Global Business Services (GBS) organization. This role ensures operational excellence, process standardization, continuous improvement, and compliance with global and local requirements while fostering employee engagement and development. 

What you´ll do

 Process Management & Operational Excellence

  • Facilitate the delivery of HR processes within the GBS organization in alignment with global process frameworks.
  • Drive the detailed implementation and execution of standardized HR processes while ensuring compliance with local requirements.
  • Coordinate the rollout and implementation of global processes across GBS locations, ensuring adherence to local specifications.
  • Monitor operational performance through KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs), implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Ensure the effective maintenance of the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize processes, increase efficiency, and enhance service quality.

Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate with internal and external Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to continuously improve HR processes.
  • Participate actively in global Process Exchange forums to share best practices, align on process enhancements, and support global standardization initiatives.
  • Lead improvement initiatives using data analysis, root cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies.
    People Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR professionals to ensure high performance, engagement, and continuous growth.
  • Establish clear performance objectives, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Develop and execute coaching, training, and development plans that strengthen team capabilities and support career progression.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and customer-focused work environment.
  • Supervise daily team activities, ensuring workload balance, productivity, and service excellence.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build effective relationships with HR stakeholders, business partners, and global process owners.
  • Communicate process changes, priorities, and performance updates effectively across functions and locations.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration to ensure consistent and efficient service delivery.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and applicable labor regulations.
  • Maintain adherence to quality standards, audit requirements, and governance processes.
  • Identify operational risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure business continuity. 

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience leading teams in HR Shared Services, Global Business Services (GBS), or HR Operations.
  • Strong knowledge of HR service delivery models and process management.
  • Project Management experience 
  • Experience in continuous improvement methodologies and quality management systems (ISO 9001:2015 is preferred).
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and people development skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using KPIs and operational metrics to drive performance.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global and multicultural environment. 
  • Demonstrated interest in and knowledge of AI-powered productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and similar generative AI solutions), with the ability to identify opportunities to enhance team efficiency, service delivery, and process optimization.
